Q: I submitted a patch (https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D279895) some time ago, which was my first time adding a test for Firefox. In the reviewer’s feedback, the only thing not fully clear to me was the recommendation to use Services.perms.removeAll() instead of a more complex construction with try-catches that I used. The reviewer requested to make the change, but did not have an opportunity to continue this super-minor discussion. I’d appreciate it if you could explain this, and tell a bit more about the general practise of safeguards in Fx tests.
